Pine Island Double Falls

    I went to Pine Island Double Falls with my mom and sister. It's not actually an island, but it's still really cool. The drive was good, except the 20 minute GRAVEL road. The weather was perfect. It was not a busy hike, but I'm sure it's more popular in the summer. Stephanie waded in the creek BUT... she sadly did not get in the waterfalls. After we stopped for a lunch break my mom stood up and said "Lets go EXPLORE". That went badly from there. We [predictably] got lost. Finally, after bushwhacking our way to the van we found it. It was nice to sit in the cool van after being stuck in the forest. The falls were worth it. I will [maybe] go again sometime.     Wow! Beautiful pictures, and beautiful girls! I think the crawdad was saying, "I'll fight you!" I love your description of the day. I think I would feel exactly the same way, and I feel like I went hiking with you without leaving my office. Love it! Thanks for sharing. VERY GOOD WRITING!!

    From Mom-We did NOT get lost. We enjoyed the scenic tour of the falls and forest. :)
