Wacky Word Wednesday 8

Today is Wacky Word Wednesday. I'm going to do something a little different today. I'm going to do two words.

The first word I picked is the word thither. Thither means there. If someone said: Go thither and I will consider granting your wish. That means they want you to go there. I think that thither is a really cool word. What do you think?

The second word I picked is salary. The word salary means the $$$ you get from a job. I like the word salary because..... I LIKE MONEY! [Do you?] If you worked at Wendy's and your boss said: Wait here while I get you salary. That means wait here, I'm going to get your MONEY!

If you have any questions please put them in the comments.

  1. Two words-I love it! It's twice as much fun as one!!!

*I think that thither is a very fun word. It seems so much fancier than saying go there. Next time we are hiking, I think I will say, "Leah, go thither by that waterfall so that I might take a photograph of you."

*A salary is a very important thing to collect. Without Dad's salary, we would be homeless. I am grateful that he works so hard for our family and receives a salary for his efforts. (I love your example)

    1. OR .. your boss could say 'wait thither and I will check my piggy bank for your salary'.. Oops 'now that Nobiden has raised the minimum wage to $15.00/hour, I'll have to take out a loan to provide you with your salary and then I'll have to lay you off' ....

  3. My salary provides money for our family that seems to go hither and thither for all types of unexpected and wonderful expenditures... In other words, my money goes to pay for the most unusual and usually awesome stuff for our family! :)
