I went to Hawk Creek Falls with my mom and sister on Black Friday. When we got there we ate some lunch for ENERGY. At first it was easy, but then it got really REALLY REALLY hard. There was a cool suspension bridge. We bushwhacked to find the waterfall [because the waterfall was of the trail]. [The word bushwhacked is a fancy word for going of the trail.] It wasn't worth it. When we FINALLY got back to the car I was soooooooo tired. I don't know how much farther I could go. I am really glad we were able to go out and do something together. Even if it kind of failed.
Crazy hiking women. Way to go. The next word should be Machette, to go with bushwacked. Maybe that will help on the next outing...
ReplyDeleteYou are amazing. I wait to see the next pictures you will send. Love your journey sharing. Makes me wish I was with you. Some day. I need to practice lots before I go with you. Love you.
ReplyDeleteMom-Leah, thanks for bushwhacking with me. I was grateful that the wasn't any poison ivy off trail. I was disappointed with the waterfalls, but it was a beautiful trail.
